OK, here is the deal. I am looing into starting a business, and one of the things I would require would be high powered, video editing. Now Adobe makes a good software package for Windows, but doees Linux have anything? I mean one as powerful and feature rich as Adobe?

you can try this link out, its about a person who copied his vcr movies onto his computer using Linux and has some links to some video editing tools that are used in Linux.

but other than that, i am not too familiar with video editing within linux.

thanks! it looks like those guys are all more enthusiastic about arguing and being childish than sharing information with each other though. HA! and they had the nerve to call me elitist, or whatever it was they said...
