If somebody read my previous posts you'll know that i had problems with the whole functioning of my computer, some said the HD kicked it, some said it was the BIOS, but before sending it to the technician i gave it a last shot...and it worked!! i took out a 32MB Acer Dimm and now the comp works perfectly (well, as perfect it can work with winblows), my question is: Do anybody knows what could have been the problem about the RAM, because i had a 32MB & a 64 MB Dimms, maybe it can't have it that way cuz it was running on 96 total, does it have to be 16 or 32 or 64 or 128 exclusively??

Uhm, some PC's require that DIMM's be put in a certain order for functionality to work. I'd suggest checking your manual to make sure you don't need to do that. Other than that it could be just plain bad RAM. I have had my machine on 96 MB of ram running fine, as long as it's a power of 2(or combo) it will work(1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, ...)

I've had plain old bad RAM, and mobos that don't like mixing RAM. I picked up an old Gigabyte that got all huffy when I mixed 32/64 MB sticks.

Rule #1 - Check your RAM with software as menioned above.
Rule #2 - Don't mix.
Rule #3 - Get good mobos with stable chips. (IMHO Asus/Intel/Abit)

You might check if your BIOS supports these memsize...
