Win4Lin installation

I log into root in the terminal as directed. I can browse to /mnt/, but get an input/output error when I try to get to /mnt/cdrom. Anyone have any clues why?

and yes, I am a newbie

do you have a cd rom in the tray ready to be mounted. you first have to mount the cd and then you should be about to browse the /mnt/cdrom directory.
