Is there a disk defragmentation utility available for Linux? I run Mandrake 7.2 kernels 2.2.17 and 2.4.2.

not really, the ext2 filesystem keeps things under control all by itself.

Hi,
The linux filesystem doesn't need a disk defrag utility as does windows...

Well there is actually one defragment program that I know of, can't remember what it is called but even the creator of it recommends for you not to use it, it has been known to just destroy your filesystem. Anyways though, rshaw is right though, the way the ext2 filesystem is setup, there is no need for a defragmentation of it by a program.

ReiserFS

I am not using ext2 though. I use the ReiserFS for 64 bit journaling goodness. Do I still not a defrag utility?

No you don't need to defrag with RiserFS.
