Well, actually I do!
As I write this I have a huge smile across my face, and not because I have read some of the helpdex comic strips(see
http://www.shanecollinge.com/Linux/ )
It is because I have managed to configure X so that my Debian distro now displays the window manager. I can hear you all gasp with amazement already, but it has been a two day struggle (including posts here, at another forum, and reading the XF86 How-to, oh and the book Running Linux!) with lots of downs, and then one big up!
I just thought I would share it with my fellow Linux friends, who will understand the struggles which you can have with some Linux things!
Its not just the fact that I got it working, but that I learned loads by reading the docs already available, and posting, and experimenting. In fact, it all seems to be easier now then before, and I feel pretty comfortable with X(don't quote me on that!!)

So to all the people who struggle - persevere, keep trying and you can succeed.
