Does anyone know what Lexmark printers run on Mandrake 7.2 with CUPS? I want the z52, but I have heard that the drivers are for the old style printer system.

Don't you get a list of drivers when you try to install Mandrake?

I chose the ones which didn't have gimp next to the option, because they worked better (mine is a BJC-1000). Can you not find any which match yours?

I would have to go back in tonight and check to see what shows up. The thing I was hoping for is the Lexmark I want comes with Linux drivers (finally), but they are not compatible with CUPS. Does anyone know the difference?
