How do you change your network details if xwindow isn't working?

eth0 fails to initiate during startup. Is this related?

Thanx in advance.

Re: Newbee Q

Hi there
when not having acces to Xwindows you can use the command netconf or linuxconf
netconf is for netconfiguration only, linuxconf is for configuring you'r linux box in general

If you want to get some real good help in this forum, plese give some info on which Linux flavour you'r running e.g. RedHat, Mandrake or others
give some info on which type of hardware you'r having a problem with
Hint: visit the homepage of the Linux flavour you'r running, most of them have a list of hardware the distrobution supports, so there you can see if you'r netdevice is supported

Regards Torp

Thanks.

I'm running RedHat 7.0, and a driver update from NVidia and a NHF got Xwindows working.

I'll try linuxconf and/or netconf next time I boot into Linux.
