How do I get my Logitech 3-button, wireless, scrollmouse to work?

I am running Red Hat Linux V7.1.
I have a Logitech Wireless, 3-button plus scroll wheel PS/2 mouse. At present, I am unable to use the scroll wheel. What do I do to get this to work?

Did it get identified on install?

If it did it may be working, but not all programs support it.

You could try mouseconfig if it didn't.

I found an answer at http://www-sop.inria.fr/koala/anyboa...1077.html#1077
I changed /etc/X11/SF86Config-4 per the above post, and the scroll wheel works, some of the time.
