Hi,
i downloaded knapster-0.13.tar.gz version from davecentral.com , some how i am managed to extract the package but when i use " ./configure " it gives some message as
"check if the compiler is the same which was used to make the program" or something similar.

can anybody please tell me what can be wrong and how to fix it..
Will it be better to use "rpm file", is it simpler to install?

Any positive advice will be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Ali

The rpm-package would be easier to install, at least if u are using RedHat. Then u only have to give the command: rpm -i <filename.rpm>
