Need a little help here, mates.

What's the easiest way to get the Verdana font type installed and working on Linux when you don't have a Windows *gags* partition?

And one other thing. 2.4.5. is the newest Kernel right?

When you say you don't have a Windows partition available do you still have access to a Windows machine? If so you can install at TTF font server for X, I'm using xttfs which seems fine. Have a search on http://linux.tucows.com for it.

And yeah - AFAIK 2.4.5 is the newest kernel.

I think that should be "X needs more built in fonts..."
