Installing/Using Binaries

I downloaded Star Office from sun.com, and the file was neither a *.tar.gz nor a .i386.rpm. It is a *.bin. How the heck do i install it? The sun site is terrible, and provides not installation instructions (none that are easily or obivously accessbile). Thanks.

okay

first do this:
Code:
# chmod 777 /so5.2whatever.bin
then from a terminal within X, at the command, type the file name to start the install.
Code:
# ./so5.2whatever.bin
this will start a graphical install, it will remind you of a windows install. its that easy.

Cool. That was pretty easy. How come they couldn't have posted that on their web site? Thanks for the QUICK response!
