It may sound pretty stupid but I find difficulties configuring my modem not to wait for a dailtone.
When I want to dail a phone number through minicom for example I should type ATDTnumbers;what should I type instead of the 2nd T?

thanks a lot

replace the 'T' with a 'P' for pulse dialing. or use yast2. select network then modem config. click on the hardware button, then click on the modem, then the edit button. that should bring you to the page where you can select tone or pulse, and wait/no-wait for dialtone.
