have dual boot up with Red Hat Linux 7.0 and Win2K. Everytime I boot up the system takes me to a Red Hat Linux Bootup screen which gives me two options: Linux or Dos.
Linux is the default and if I don't select Dos within a certain time it will automatically boot into Linux. Is there a way to make DOS the default so that it will automatically boot into win2k if I don't select Linux within a certain time? Thanks in advance!
if you use lilo to boot,then edit your /etc/lilo.conf file
and near the top put the line
default=dos
or whatever its called in the file
save the new file,then as root in a term issue
lilo -v to write.You should now see dos* which means it is default
