hi guys, got a strange question here:

iīve got Suse 7.0 running on my machine, kernel 2.2-16, and i installed xfree86 4.0.3.

yast2 configured my sound card (sound blaster live), and everything works fine, i can listen to all audio formats, i can control my speakers with kmix etc.

Now the strnage part: when i change to the text console where i started x (ALT+F1), the message: "kmix: couldnīt write to mixer" is repeatedly printed to the screen. (all the time, even when kmix isnīt even running.) This error messsage only stops when i leave x. apart from this message, everything seems to work fine.
