You will either have to be more specific in the nature of the problem or do one of the following:[list=a][*]Hire someone to do it for you[*]Consult the psychic friends network.

So give me a hint. You can't compile it? You can't start the daemon? You can't share anything? You can't see any resources?

Please post what you have done/tried/configured.

Samba? Netscape?

Samba makes your Linux box look like an NT box - I don't get where Netscape is in the equation. You sure you're using the right tool for the job here axon2?

If you are *really* using Samba then have a look in /var/log/log.smb and /var/lob/log.nmb for some hints about why its not starting. Setting it up should be reasonably straight forward - just change a few settings in /etc/smb.conf - there is normally something like /etc/smb.conf-example that you can work from. Or download one of the many tools for setting up your Samaba config then (re)start smbd and nmbd.

Post some more specific details - including the guide you have read.

good luck - HTH

Tools for Samba Config

You may want to use a program called swat or better yet WebMin (can be found at linuxberg)
Better yet is to edit the smb.conf in your favourite text editor.

Question SWAT?

I think that he is talking about SWAT that uses NETSCAPE to set it up.
That's all I know.
