Hi all,
Just a thought, but what would you all think of getting together one day a week on icq or irc to have a help session or to discuss a particular topic. Perhaps those who have a particular area of expertise to talk about it. Personally I think it would be kinda nice, but what do i know )
Thanks,
Dallam

I think that that is really good idea, but would like to take it one step further, by suggesting an IRC channel for Linux questions itself??

It is just a thought after all the new ICQ address I recieved regarding Linux (almost 500% more addresses!!!!)

However, I don't know squat about IRC, its uses or how to step up a group. I don't think that it is essential at the moment, but a thought for the future.

Hi,
Thanks CragStar, glad you like the idea. If you and some others would like to help me out with it you could by doing this for me:
I can register a channel on a irc server, but i need at least 7 "real" email addresses. Real email addresses are provided by your isp. Such as "nick"@btinternet.com etc. As soon as I submit the email addy's the room will be registered within 5-10 days (check the email addy's as being legitimate).
Please help me out with this everyone so we can have a place on IRC )
Thanks,
Dallam

PS: you can email me the email addresses at:
Dallam_@hotmail.com or
twowitchesinthelight@btinternet.com
