but what i wanna know is how do i install the drivers i downloaded from nvidias web page for the tnt2?
i use SuSE linux 6.3, but when i try to select mach 64 under one of the lists in SAX, it says that i need to install it.
also, my actual card is an asus V3800, and when i select that, it says that i should contact them but they were unfortunately no help.
i downloaded the 2 files in RPM format but do not know what to do next.
thx, i dont wanna be a drag but once i do this, what do i do to sort it out so i can use all of this juicy gl
would it be too much to ask for a set by step plz?
i downloaded the 2 drivers from nvidias web page.
i got a kernel driver : nvidia~1.rpm
and the glx driver : nvidia~2.rpm
i tried what u said, i made sure the files were in the
\ directory, and opened Konsole (SuSE) and typed
"rpm -ivh nvidia~1.rpm"
"rpm -ivh nvidia~2.rpm"
it always says "could not open file"
so what do i do, and once its done, how do i set it all up?

Rep:
SuSE does appear to support RPM's, so you would want NVIDIA kernel 0.9-5 suse64 i386 rpm 09/05/2000 208436 Bytes for SuSE and NVIDIA kernel 0.9-5 tar.gz 09/05/2000 371589 Bytes
for Corel. If you download the tar just type
Code:
tar zxvf filename
A file called README or INSTALL is usually included.
