Am I not the only person who is having problems getting a hold of Slackware 8? All of the ftps are really busy and I can't seem to get a copy, let me know if anyone has found a good ftp mirror that I can get it from.
ftp://mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.slackware.com seems good for me... but I'm in the UK... Its not on their list of mirrors either so shouldn't get hit too by the new release... I would have been great if my FTP client hadn't fallen over... nevermind a mission for tonight.
Dang, it's great but it dosn't have the isos... Do you know how I can creat a network install disk? I just want it on my system, the iso can come later :-). Thanks anyways, it's the thought that counts.
Yeah I noticed that too... I'm waiting for http://www.linuxiso.org/slackware.html to be updated although I have ordered the discs, but they say there is a three week wait at their end
