I have recently installed Redhat 7 on a machine running an NVIDIA geforce 2mx graphics card. The config is Athlon 1.2G, Nvidia geforce 2mx and a AZZA KT3ABX motherboard.
After installation the linux and linux-2.2.16 kernel sources were installed, as redhat left them out( as per
http://www.evil3D.net)!!!.The correct drivers were then downloaded from Nvidia (the tar ones, not the rpms). Then when the following command was issued (under the corrosponding new directory)
make SYSINCLUDE=/usr/src/linux/include/
I got
make: no such command
when i typed
man make
again the command was not recognized in the manual pages?
why is the make command useless?
I know i am doing something stupid as i am a Newbie to linux. can anyone help before i return to the dreaded MS empire.
