Thumbs down

At my job, a school in holland, we have a network almost entirely on Novell Netware. We use a bordermanager proxy/firewall to connect to the net. This proxy is HTTPS and only authenticates logged on users. Does anyone know how to get Linux machines on the net through this proxy???
I need it badly

I have to admit, i don't know very much about novell. But let's see...
Is your linux-box prepared to use the IPX-protocol?

Greetings from east of the rhine

Yes, it is. IPX is there, but Novell 5.1 works fine with TCP/IP also.
And the Bordermanager software works completely on TCP/IP so it shouldn't matter

I believe you need to use IPsec for this.

How do you do this then?
It would come in very handy if our Linux box could smash its way through the bordermanager server!!

You probably want to use FreeS/WAN.
