I have a friends Windows drive, and he wants me copy his personal files (which are all over the place) to a CD-ROM. Now I successfully mounted the drive, and could navigate and copy everything except his mp3 folder. This is located at /windows/desktop/mp3s
For some reason, I can see them, but I cannot play them, nor copy them to a CD-ROM or to my hard disk, whether I do it one at a time or all at once.
Does anyone have any idea why, or even better, how to get around this?
any particular error messages that you recieve? how are you trying to copy the files and where to? are you trying to copy from windows drive to your linux drive?
