I would like to give some one else the job of reseting users id and creating new accounts on my linux box but don't want to give him root access. I have heard that best thing for this is to configure it thru "sudo". Does anyone have any experience with this or can suggest best secure solution. I want to be able to protect root password also perhapse few other special accounts.
I know, at work support people do it thru a support menu they get when they login to users workstions which they can do stuff with a support id but not everything. Actually limited to certain and filtered commands as reseting password and creating new users on workstions..
I can't seem to be able to get my hands on that script although I know it uses "sudo".
Thanks,.
