this is easy to setup. You need to do a couple of things first.Open a text editor as root and call up the /etc/fstab
file.If the drive was origionally partitioned as a primary dos then insert a line like this
/dev/hdb1 /mp3 vfat user 0 0
save and exit.
now create a directory called /mp3 in your top / directory.
issue the command mount /mp3 and all your files will be available. The next time you reboot Linux will mount the drive for you.You can change the /mp3 to anything you like. Also you need to have vfat compiled to allow you to read dos and fat32 file systems.

Question one more question...

i have all kinds of different files in different folders.. will this place all of those files in the different foldres in the mp3 file? will it remove them from the folders, or will it simply place the folders into the directory? thanks again for your time...
