nvidia has a new driver out for linux, v0.95 or 96... i can't remember offhand.
but, for your immediate problem, you need to have this in your XF86Config file (the "modules" section)
Modules
load "glx"
load "extmod" #you might not need this line on red hat
EndSection
that should take care of the glx error. but be sure to download the new nvidia driver. the installation readme is pretty decent, and the driver's been working great on my suse.
www.opengl.org has a pretty good forum for the nvidia driver if you'd like to check that out.
