Hello there.

I am no expert, but for some things, I am definetely no newbie either.

One of the things that I will admit, has got me, is that the only distro I have, that installs without ANY trouble, is Mandrake 6.1, on the AMD, using the Matrox Mistique, and NOTHING, will even bother to try?

Now, I have recently splashed out on 7.1, and I am 50/50 as to whether I will get 7.2, ( Got the Linux Format CoverDisk ) or I was thinking about BestLinux maybe? I dont yet know?

Anyway, lets get on with it shall we...

I dont know? - can anyone advise me as to what on earth I am supposed to enter to get the graphics card running under any of the others?

I have a Matrox Mistique. I have 2 of them actually, and I have messed around under Win95 with them conneced back to back, but not under Linux ( Just in case? )
I also want to try SuSE 5.0/5.2/5.3/6.2/6.3 and 7.0 or Slackware ( dont know the version? ) and again I have Turbo, but what distro it is, is anyones guess?

All the info I try to give XFREE it just doesnt seem to want to know!?

I think this question is a bit confusing, so please try to understand it.
