I'm running Mandrake 8.0 and I use the KDE desktop.
When I try to create a shortcut to an URL on my desktop and I click on it, nothing happens.

It seems to me that it's opened with "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing"; this appears when I choose "Open with..." in the menu I get by clicking the icon with the right mouse button.

However, when I try to execute in a terminal window, it works (ex. kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing http://www.mandrakecampus.com).

Many thanks.

What's in the configuration of your filetype ?

When you click on the icon with the right mouse button and you click on "Edit filetype".

What's on the pages "General" and "Embedding" ?

Many thanks.
