Hi all

I have two pc's in a Linux Network (Mandrake 8.0), lets call them jriis1 and jriis2 in the domain jriis. jriis1 is the server connected to the Internet through ISDN.

I have to users who need to login to jriis2 (the client) and read their mail (external mail) However their mail accounts are not from my ISP, but from a different domain.

How do I setup the server to fetch and distribute mail to the users on the client ??

Thanks.

Jan Riis Soerensen

P.S. I have tried the mail how-to's on linuxdoc.org but I need an easy step by step way.

easy. they log in on jriis2. so they have an account +mailbox there. I assume u got jriis2 to be able to access the net tru jriis1. now set up fetchmail or a similar remote mail retriever on jriss2. configure accounts for each user in .fetchmailrc. run as daemon or regularly fron cron. thats all.

skol.
