Well, where to begin. My company uses HP omniback to backup our systems daily. We are integrating Linux in to our infrastructure for our newer customers who are migrating towards linux based servers. However we are running in to a problem. We are able to get Omniback installed on RH7.0 but it is unablee to connect. We have modified xinetd.conf to accomodate the necessary script, however as soon as Omniback accesses the RH7.0 machine it is instantly kicked out.

What i was wanting to know is this. Has anyone been able to successfully get this program(if you have used it) installed and running on RH7.0? The RH6.2 machine runs perfectly. We evenn tried to chheat and copy the necessary scripts from 6.2 and put them to use on 7.0.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
