I am trying to get my USRobotics 0726 V90 56K internal Faxmodem, PCI model 3CP5610, Kermit Chipset, to work with Red Hat V7.0. I have been told that upgrading to V2.4.1 of the Kernel might solve my problem.

This modem installs on com5 in Windows95/98 and a program called DOSBOX redirects to Com4.

Info I have read on this modem is that it will "install on other Com ports in other operating systems, such as Windows NT and Windows 2000"...don't know about Linux.
Can anyone help me get this bugger up and running?

Check www.idir.net/~gromitkc/pedersen.txt for a clue, YMMV...
