I have a "demo" cd from cheapbytes of suse6.4 (kernal 2.2.14 ($1.99) I noticed that K Mail has a PGP tab and downloaded GNUpg installed it to my home directory as root (I'm also listed as SU)and then the signing and encryption buttons did appear in K mail but they are greyed out. I tried entering my GNUpg identity for signing in the K mail pgp config tab but nothing changed.
Question: Is this some kind of built in restriction on SUSE's part because I haven't purchased the boxed set, or is there some activation of gnupg I haven't done. I've created keys etc. or..does K mail expect to use PGP and if so, which version?
Where am I going wrong?
