Ok...Just installed SuSE 7.2 . KDM 2.4.4 Kernal.

When I logged in for the first time evryting was ok. The next day after typing in my password and
either hitting go or return the loging screen would dissapper, the screen would turn gray thewn go back to the login. After a few tries I got in. Later in the day I came back, botted up and now I cant get in at all. The PW I type is correct . I can log in as root. But every time I try to log in as a regual user now it just flashes black , grey then back to login.

Any input would be appreciated...

Did you change window managers for that user? At the login screen make sure the correct wm is selected for the user. Each user defaults to the wm that they used in the last session.
