Question


While compiling a C program how does one also compile anexecutable binary or otherwise file that has a name other than a.out? for instance...

lets say i write a program called crappy.c ... and now i would like to compile a binary file maybe called just "crappy"?

Specify the "-o outfile" option when calling cc:

cc -o crappy crappy.c
