OK. Hopefully someone can help me with this.

I have been running MDK 7.2 and 8.0, and XMMS seems to have a slow response.

It has a delay betweena command I issue and when it takes place. For example, if I tell it to stop plying, it takes about half a second to do it. And to skip forward or backward on a track takes a delay that is really noticable.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which version of XMMS do you have? I have read that XMMS is buggy, but the latest version is the best one. Although I have run XMMS in MDK 7.2 and haven't found it to be bad at all, apart from stopping. Track skipping seems to be alright.

I am running the latest version of XMMS. It is not a really big deal, but I am annoyed with it, because I am currently biulding a computer for my car, and I would like to Linux on it.

No, Winblows will not go on it if XMMS still has issues. Instead, I will use BeOS.

Hi!

Did you manage to get rid of that delay thing?

Cheers!
