I installed Redhat 7 Workstation, running dual boot with Win98. Everything is working great; however, I want to have port 23 open in Linux to let certain people telnet in. I read that the xinetd network daemon was left out of workstation in version 7 which means there are no inbound network services allowed like ftp or telnet. Is there a way to open port 23 or install the xinetd daemon into my existing version of workstation?

Thanks

You can install the xinetd rpm with no problems. Just
Code:
rpm -ivh filename.rpm
