Talking cdrom problem


can anyone please tell me how to make the icon for my cdrom and cdwriter viewable on the desktop.
when I was using redhat, I used to see both icons for my cdrom drive and the cdrewritable drive, but now, I am using mandrake 8.0 I don't see them on the desktop.
please tell me how can I create icons for them

Ok lets say your cdrom is linked by a file called:

cdrom

Save a file like this in your /username/Desktop

folder, name it

cdrom

change the parameters you want

[Desktop Entry]
Dev=/dev/cdrom
FSType=iso9660
Icon=cdrom_mount
MountPoint=/mnt/cdrom
ReadOnly=true
Type=FSDevice
UnmountIcon=cdrom_unmount
X-KDE-Dynamic-Device=true
