Uninstalling software that was installed with package
Hello, I would like to know how to uninstall apps that were installed as part of the linux distro. Specifically, I installed the Peanut package (8.4), and would like to remove Koffice and install StarOffice. What is the cleanest way to go about this? Step by step for the newbie, please, or point me towards a good piece of info. Thanks a bunch, and Id like to say that I have barely touched my windows box since i started Peanut.
To install....
Type 'mc' in a Xterminal within KDE or ICE wm

go highlight the package you wan't to install &
press the [F2] key, chose from the [F2] menu,

To uninstal...
Type 'mc' in a Xterminal within KDE or ICE wm
which starts the (Midnight Commander). Now
move to this directory '/var/log/packages', again
