Has anyone had any sucessful attempts at installing VNC?
I have it extracted and i can view my 2000 server, just cant go the other way.
the readme is pretty useless. Any suggestions?

i use vnc alot, but im not sure im clear on what youre doin... ill try....

you have a vnc server running on your win2000 box, and you can view that desktop from nix, right? but you cannot view your nix desktop from the winbox right? did you start the vncserver on the nix box? here is the usage if you havent started one yet

usage: vncserver [:<number>] [-name <desktop-name>] [-depth <depth>]
                 [-geometry <width>x<height>]
                 [-pixelformat rgbNNN|bgrNNN]
                 <Xvnc-options>...

       vncserver -kill :<number>
