Someone please help!

I have a Diamond Monster Fusion, and have just updated to XFree86 4.1.0

Now whenever I get into my X-Windows sessions my display is corrupted. It's not totally useless, but it might as well be. It's like the server is spitting out random pixels in random colors in random places everywhere. What's worse is when I then exit the display, I get a corrupt console display as well. If anyone has had trouble with the tdfx driver and fixed it(this happened a bit in 4.0.3 too) please let me know how!

hey,
4.1.0 is still in beta, they only have source installs. I WOULDNT try them until they come with a major distro. use 4.0.3 for now, I got 4.1.0 to work but John Riggs (jriggs@xfree86.org) helped me out.. He knows it like the back of his hand. I have never seen tribes 2 so fast.
good luck
