Hello all,
I just need some tips on this problem I am facing..
Some background information:
I currently have a box that has no keyboard, no mouse, no floppy, no cdrom, and no video card. It is currently running win2k advanced server and the only way of accessing it now is through terminal client.
The Problem:
I am trying to install Linux on the box. I have come up with the idea of just creating a boot image on a remote box and have my machine boot from that boot image. Once that is accomplished, I will just mount the cd on another remote box and complete the text installation that way. The problem(s) I am running into is the fact that I am not able to access the BIOS of the machine. How would I force the box to boot from a network image w/o changing the BIOS? I have thought about using Etherboot, but I am not able to reprogram any ROM's. Any suggestions/ideas anyone?
