Could anyone tell me the method for printing from my linux box to a network printer.
I have RH 7.0 installed ,.. just using the console,... and i want to print to xerox printers we have on the network.
I heard something about printcap, is this the correct file to edit for printer setup. Thanks in advance

network printing

I highly recommend using CUPS.

start a web browser, enter< http://localhost:631/printers> as the url and you will be
led through the rest of the process.
