I have a big problem, I have linux email(mandrake7.2) server at one of my clients behind a firewall. they are using Micorsoft outlook for there mail client. The problem is that after you restart the computers and go into Microsoft outlook and look at the setting it set the incoming server to "localhost" and puts "/mail.myclient.com" after there login name. The problem with this is that some times there e-mail will stop working and I will have to go in to the e-mail setting and replace "localhost" with "mail.myclient.com" and remove the "/mail.myclient.com" from the login name. The e-mail is using POP3. I would like to find out the reason why the incoming mail server changes to "localhost"

Any help would be appricated.

My e-mail address is phil@hchra.org

thanks
