I'm having trouble on installing SUSE 6.4 on my A7V/ATA100 40GB system.

I've read several topics about this and seen that someone has a way of setting this:
http://www.geocities.com/ender7007/

How can I set up ide2 and ide3?
When I get to the first screen and the "boot:" prompt appears, I write the command "text ide2=........." but I get an error, something like "the text module does not exists....".
The same with the "vmlinuz" command.
Someone knows how to do this with SUSE?
Because I asume that with red hat is OK.
