Question

Ive been having problems getting my DHCP/geteway server to work with my windowsNT machines although it works fine with macs. I am using RH7. I had it working with RedHat6 and I transferred all the files I had from the old RH6 server to the new RH7. I also included the 255.255.255.255 in teh routing table. It appears that the DHCPOFFER is not being recognized since the dhcpd.leases keeps saying it is assigning the address but the windows machines are not recognizing this. Please help!

Just a guess..

but.. transferring files between major distribution changes is not a good idea. Try recreating the dhcp files from scratch on your new RH7.0 server according to the DHCPD doc's that come with the 7.0 package.
