Unhappy

Hei all, I found the drivers for my ATI TV Wonder ve card and SB Live, it has great picture but no sound.

Tech shiznit: The card has an audio out which plugs into the SB Live, I think the prob is here somewhere but would really appreciate any help if someone has figured this cowboy hack out.

SISU!

Angry ATI TV VE

I too, am having trouble with the ATI TV VE. I am runnning Debian, but I am flexible on kernenls if need be. I have tried to get this thing to work, but it wont. I have an NVIDIA Geforce DDR as my primary video. I compiled the 'bttv', 'videodev', 'i2c' and 'tuner' modules into my kernels. I have gotten as far as to see the TV card detected in 'dmesg' but only to have it fail with a blank, black screen in XAWTV. Can you tell me what you did to get yours working at all ??

I don't know if you have tried this yet, but you need to edit your
/etc/modules.conf file.

Try adding the lines
alias char-major-81 bttv
options bttv card=64
options tuner type=2

I've also heard that card=63 works too, but I haven't tried that.
