Wahoo! I finally decided to go out and buy an external modem at last, after months of trying to get my PCtel modem to work (which was my first post on this web site incidently!) I cant say how much of a relief it is to finally leave windows behind and enjoy the Linux OS fully!

I have got to learn a few more things about the net and Linux, but am very glad at finally being able to answer Linux questions in Linux!!

Well,

My first impressions were a bit disheartening, due to viewing pages in Konquerer, but then, looking at Mozilla I was much happier thanks to an easier interface for me to get used to. There are so many excellent thiings which I have to set up for the net, e-mail, bookmarks, and I want to get jabber working so I can chat to all my microsoft friends!

Trickykid is correct, it does feel right to view the net through Linux than it does through windoze. Dunno why, it just does!
