It's been countless times, including tonight, that I type up a big message and when I'm finished I inadvertenly mash the 'Esc' key (thinking I'm in vi); poof the entire message is erased.

My question: Is this an IE thing or does Netscape do this as well?

my 'esc' seems to have no function at all in netscape
