Question

I got KMail working-I can pick up my mail and send messages ok,but, when I click on the new message button I get this dialog:file I/O error-this is a directory and not a file:/home/xxxx/Mail.(The xxx is not my login,of course).KMail is nice but I want to get this file I/O error fixed.Help this newbie out, please.

Not sure but maybe you have /home/xxxx/Mail specified as your sig? Go to File->Settings->Identity and check what is in the signature box.

Thanks,Jeremy.I got it all straightened out now.I deleted the/home/xxxx/Mail entered in the signature file, then clicked the composer tab and unchecked "automatically append signature",and it cleared things right up.Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
