I went to KDE website, and I am trying to install there new versions of the dekstop, but it says to install several packages at one time. I am not sure how to do that in Mdk 7.2 and 8.0. Can anyone help me with that.

I would use one of the GUI Package managers, if you had already downloaded the packages which you needed, other than that you can use the new feature in Mandrake 8.0 where it will connect to a server a work out whether or not it needs to update.

You can do that through Mandrake Update.
