Red face

Hello,

I have heard that linuxconf is blacklisted due to the abundancy of bugs in it. Though, it is a free tool, it is preferred by the developers not to use it for programming purposes.

If any one has worked on linuxconf, can he/she prove or disapprove the above statement?

regards

Naveed Khan

You've heard?

Well, my friend, the onus is on you. What are your sources? Can you prove or disprove the statement? Do you have any data to verify that linuxconf has been blacklisted? Who blacklisted it? Who are they to blacklist linuxconf?

People can't prove or disprove a case of hearsay.

If you have sources, please post them. It would make for an interesting thread.

I have same comments

hello bill,

well, i posted this thread only due to the reason, that i was myself very much in confusion that how is it possible that linuxconf has been considered blacklisted due to abundancy of bugs in it.

Linuxconf is one of the popular tools of linux operating system and is mentioned in good respect by many authors and linux experts.

An acquaintance of mine has commented this statement a few days ago, and it was circulating in my mind, whether is this something everyone agrees with or not.

I had become member of this forum today, and i thought to put my first query in my mind on post.

Well your comments have given me the idea that the statement issued by my acquaintance is a crap.

But still lets wait, if someone does agree with him?

MIGHT BE???????????

with best regards
