i am trying to update my kernel to 2.215 to 2.41. everything goes well until "make bzImage". and it says "target bzImage not found". whats wrong?

Most likely, you need to cd to whatever directory bzImage is in before running the command.

yeah i was in /usr/src/linux. thats rite rite?

Arrow bzImage
I think that is correct, if I remember right (I did it a few days ago) and then it should put the bzImage in /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot
